Yanis Taege

Yanis Taege studied Physics with the minor subjects Computer Science, Spanish and Arabic from 2013 to 2017 at the University of Constance, which he completed with a Bachelor of Sciene. During the summer of 2016, he was a research fellow as part of the DAAD-RISE program at the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Biophysics Lab (MBL) of the State University at Buffalo, New York. Here, he focused on the topic of mesoscopic structures in deep grey matter. He then moved to the field of semiconductor optics for his bachelor thesis, which he carried out at the Instituto Balseiro y Centro Atómico Bariloche, Argentina, in cooperation with the University of Constance.
In 2019, he completed his master's degree in Applied Physics at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg, majoring in Medical Physics and Photonics. For his master's thesis, he conducted research on oxygen-17 magnetic resonance imaging (17O-MRI) in the experimental radiology division at the University Medical Center.
Since September 2019, he is a PhD-student with the focus on microscopy with coherent light scattering (ROCS) at the Chair of Bio- and Nano-Photonics of the Institute of Microsystems Technology (IMTEK).
