Suman Manna
Suman Manna received his master degree in Applied Optics at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. In 2012, he started his PhD thesis on liquid crystal based soft-matter photonics for display and non-display applications at Telecom Bretagne, France. After that, he was working as a post-doc in a bio-medical engineering lab at University of California, Davis, where he learned multi-modal, in-vivo microscopy, implemented on mice-eye for studying various retinal diseases and nanotheranostics. In 2019, he started his second post-doc in Bio- and Nano-Photonics lab, where he is intended to study optogenetic signaling using light sheet microscopy.
