BMBF-Project: Microstructures and methods for intracellular bio-analytics (MIBA); Subproject: Micro-needle arrays with controlled surface chemistry

Project description

In the framework of the BMBF-funded project MIBA (Project No. 16SV2337) micro-needle arrays are developed and fabricated enabling the localized electroporation of individual biological cells. In cooperation with the Laboratory for Chemistry and Physics of Interfaces (CPI) at the Department of Microsystems Engineering BMBF-Project: Microstructures and methods for intracellular bio-analytics (MIBA); Subproject: Micro-needle arrays with controlled surface chemistry In the framework of the BMBF-funded project MIBA (Project No. 16SV2337) micro-needle arrays are developed and fabricated enabling the localized electroporation of individual biological cells. In cooperation with the Laboratory for Chemistry and Physics of Interfaces (CPI) at the Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK), we implement a defined, laterally patterned surface modification around the micro-needle arrays using cell-attractive or cell-repelling polymer films.
