MA Schudell

I studied Biophysics at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. Thereby, I developed a special interest in physical methods as an approach to solve complex biological issues. In 2014, I finished my diploma thesis at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) Heidelberg, in the field of heavy ion therapy. Afterwards, I worked for half a year in a plant physiology group, among others I was involved in the modification of a light sheet microscope.

Since 2015, I am a PhD student at the lab for Bio- and Nanophotonics. The aime of my work is to investigation the energetics during the induced uptake of particles into functionalized, synthetic membrane systems, by using a photon force microscope (PFM).
