I finished my B. Sc. in physical engineering in 2018 at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich. My B. Sc. dissertation was written in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE). The dissertation focused on reaction kinetics modelling of methanol synthesis as well as process design for dynamic simulations of a mini-plant.

The same year I began my M. Sc. studies in microsystem engineering at the University of Freiburg specializing in life sciences biomedical engineering. I gained first job experience by working at Cytena – a company that produces single cell printings – while working as a student assistant. In April 2021 I will begin writing my M.A. dissertation at the chair of Bio- and Nano-Photonics at the University of Freiburg. My work will focus on microscoping the actin cytoskeleton using TIR-ROCS microscopy.
