Mixing in centrifugal microfluidics (CentriMix)
Project description
Investigation of both an experimental and a simulation-based characterization method for the quantification of mixing processes on platforms of centrifugal microfluidics.
· Investigation of a bubble mixer for platforms of centrifugal microfluidic.
· Research in respect to the influencing factors of flow regime formation due to buoyancy of gas bubbles in centrifugal gravity fields. Evaluation of the quality of mixing in these flow regimes.
